1. Services

Steam Auto Spa provides mobile automotive appearance services, including detailing, ceramic coating, polishing, and paint correction. The scope, location, timing, and price for a service will be described in the quote, booking confirmation, invoice, or other written communication we provide. If those documents conflict with these Terms on a service-specific detail, the service-specific document controls for that detail.

2. Quotes and Vehicle Condition

Quotes are based on the information you provide and any available inspection. Final price and service time may change if the vehicle's size, condition, contamination, access requirements, requested work, or other material facts differ from what was described. We will seek your approval before performing materially different or additional paid work.

Some conditions may require specialized treatment or may not be fully correctable, including severe staining, embedded pet hair, biological material, smoke or odor contamination, oxidation, deep scratches, paint failure, prior repairs, and damaged or deteriorated surfaces.

3. Booking and Customer Authority

You must provide accurate contact, vehicle, location, and scheduling information. By booking, you represent that you own the vehicle or are authorized by the owner to request the service and approve the work.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Before the appointment, you must:

• Provide safe and lawful access to the vehicle and enough working space for the agreed service.
• Remove cash, valuables, fragile items, child seats, and personal property you do not want handled.
• Disclose known hazards, sensitive surfaces, aftermarket parts, recent repairs, leaks, electrical issues, loose trim, or other conditions that may affect the service.
• Provide access to water or electrical power if that requirement was disclosed when booking.
• Ensure minors and pets remain safely away from the work area.

5. Prices and Payment

Prices shown online or in advertising may be starting prices or promotional prices unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes, add-ons, excessive-condition charges, or approved additional services may increase the total. Payment is due at the time stated in the quote, booking confirmation, or invoice. You are responsible for authorized charges and any legally permitted collection costs for past-due amounts.

6. Appointment Changes, Access, and Weather

Please contact us promptly if you need to cancel or reschedule. Any cancellation, deposit, or rescheduling terms clearly disclosed during booking become part of these Terms. We may delay, reschedule, or decline service when weather, unsafe conditions, vehicle access, utilities, staffing, equipment, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control prevent safe or effective work.

7. Personal Property and Pre-Existing Conditions

We are not responsible for loss of items left in the vehicle unless caused by our willful misconduct. We may document the vehicle's condition before and after service. Normal detailing can reveal or worsen pre-existing wear, loose or deteriorated materials, failing coatings, cracked trim, damaged electronics, poor prior repairs, or other hidden defects. Tell us before service about any area requiring special handling.

8. Service Results

We will perform services with reasonable care. Results depend on the vehicle's materials, age, maintenance, prior damage, contamination, repairs, and other factors. Unless expressly stated in a written warranty, we do not guarantee complete removal of every stain, odor, scratch, defect, or contaminant, or that every surface can be restored to a like-new condition.

9. SMS/Text Messaging Terms

By providing your mobile number and affirmatively consenting where required, you authorize Steam Auto Spa to send text messages related to your quote request, booking confirmation, appointment reminders, service updates, customer support, and follow-ups about your service. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

• How you opt in: by entering your mobile number on our Facebook/Instagram lead form or website quote form and checking the optional SMS consent checkbox. See SMS Opt-In & Consent for the exact consent language.

• Message frequency varies.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to opt out. You may receive one confirmation message.

• Consent is not a condition of purchase.
• You must be at least 18 years old to opt in to our SMS program.

You represent that you are at least 18 years old and the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number you provide and will notify us if the number changes. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Your carrier's message and data terms apply. Our handling of personal information is described in the Steam Auto Spa Privacy Policy.

Mobile phone information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that support our messaging program solely as needed to provide those services.

10. Website Use

You may use the website only for lawful purposes. You may not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, scrape or copy content in violation of law, impersonate another person, submit false information, or use the website to harm Steam Auto Spa or others.

11. Intellectual Property

The website and its original text, graphics, photographs, logos, and other content are owned by Steam Auto Spa or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce or commercially exploit that content without prior written permission, except as allowed by law.

12. Third-Party Services and Links

The website may use or link to third-party platforms for advertising, forms, scheduling, communications, maps, reviews, analytics, or payments. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their availability, content, or independent practices. Your use of them may be governed by separate terms and policies.

13. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties concerning the website, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. This disclaimer does not limit any written service warranty we expressly provide or rights that cannot legally be waived.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Steam Auto Spa will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the website or services. Our total liability for a claim concerning a paid service will not exceed the amount you paid for the service giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.

15. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Steam Auto Spa harmless from third-party claims, losses, or expenses arising from your unlawful use of the website, material breach of these Terms, or lack of authority to approve work on a vehicle. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from our negligence or willful misconduct.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where federal law or another mandatory law applies.

17. Changes; Severability; Entire Agreement

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and changing the “Last updated” date. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms, together with the applicable quote, booking confirmation, invoice, written warranty, and Privacy Policy, form the agreement concerning the website and services.
